Car insurer’s new FlexiBell approach
A brand new approach to car insurance has been launched whereby customers can save money by only choosing the features and extras they want to ensure they’ve got all of the cover they need at the right price.
Called FlexiBell, it lets motorists produce a tailor made policy that doesn’t need to contain features included in a standard insurance policy should they not require them. So, a basic FlexiBell policy doesn’t include Legal Cover, Windscreen Cover, European Cover, a Courtesy Car or Driving Other Cars Cover, but these can then be added by the customer should they be required.
This innovative policy is offered by Bell, part of the Admiral Group, and managing director, Sue Longthorn said, “We understand that every driver has different requirements when it comes to their insurance and so we came up with the idea of a policy that would allow them to mix and match policy features and extras to meet their requirements. Some people simply want the cheapest policy possible with no added extras, and with FlexiBell, that’s what they can have.
She continued, “FlexiBell means that customers aren’t forced into paying for features that they’d never use because they are standard on a policy. For example, if you’re not going to be driving your car in Europe, with FlexiBell, you don’t need to have it on your policy and so you save money.”
