Once you've added Breakdown Cover to your policy it couldn't be easier to use.

You'll receive your full Breakdown Cover details along with a card with our freephone breakdown assistance number.

As soon as you receive the card write your policy number and registration number on the back of the card as you'll need this information when you call us.

As well as the scheme code which is already printed on the card we'll also need the make, model and type of your car.

We'll also need your location so we can find you as quickly as possible and your phone number so we can call you back to keep you informed.

How can I add Breakdown Cover to my policy?

You can add the Breakdown Cover at any point during your cover with us if you call our Customer Services Department on: 0870 040 11 26

Can you pass on messages?

You don't have to worry if your breakdown has made you late for a meeting at work or if your family are expecting you at home - we're always happy to pass on a message for you!

Does my membership cover me for any car?

No.  It only covers your own vehicle.

Is there any limit on the distance from home that I can be recovered from?

No, if your car cannot be repaired at the roadside or at a local garage, we will take you, your vehicle and up to six passengers home or to your destination anywhere in the UK.

Am I covered if my car breaks down at home?

We include Roadside Assistance and Recovery to help you at the scene of the breakdown and also Home Assistance to aid you if the car won't start for you at home.

What happens if I lose my keys?

If you lose or break your keys then give us a call and we'll help you.
