Bell’s breakdown cover is supplied by Call Assist Limited (Axis Court, North Station Road, Colchester, CO1 1UX) who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. The product is underwritten by Red Sands Insurance Company (Europe) Limited, (Ocean Village Business Centre, 23 Ocean Village Promenade, Gibraltar) who are authorised and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. How it works Once you’ve added Bell Breakdown Cover to your policy it couldn’t be simpler to use. As well as your Bell Breakdown Cover details, you’ll also receive a card with our freephone breakdown assistance number. As soon as you receive the card write your car insurance policy number and registration number on the back of the card as you'll need this information when you call us. When you call us, we'll need you to tell us the make, model and type of your car, in addition to your insurance policy number and registration number. We'll also need to know your location so we can find you as quickly as possible and your phone number so we can call you back to keep you informed. The operator will call you back to tell you which assistant will be attending and how long they will be. Your Questions Answered How can I add Bell's Breakdown Cover to my policy? Simply call Customer Services on 0871 882 1100. Can you pass on messages? If your breakdown has made you late for a meeting at work or if your family are expecting you at home – don’t worry! We're always happy to pass on a message for you. Does my membership cover me or my car? Cover is provided for the car shown on your policy schedule, whilst being driven by any of the drivers named on your policy schedule. Am I covered if my car breaks down at home? If you have National Plus or European Plus breakdown cover we will help you if your car won't start for you at home. What happens if I lose my keys? Give us a call and we'll be happy to help you if you lose or break your keys.
